Matthew is a leading Swiss careers coach, whose own experience of arriving in Switzerland alone and with neither a professional network or a job in place is the foundation of LiveWorkSwitzerland. His own journey to career success in Switzerland made him realize that he could use his skills to help others land their dream jobs and build new lives here.
In the decade since he arrived and has been working in Switzerland, Matthew has amassed broad experience of the Swiss employment market, in both startup and corporate environments. During his time as a Swiss careers coach, Matthew has personally coached and guided over 30 professionals in relocating and landing jobs in Switzerland, as well as working with local candidates looking to upgrade and switch their careers or achieve higher salaries.
Outside of work, Matthew is a professional and passionate musician, as a drummer and singer, an avid mountain climber who spends his spare time conquering mountains all over Switzerland, when he is not with his two children or practicing yoga and mindfulness.
LiveWorkSwitzerland co-founder and Matthew’s brother (who enticed him to Switzerland in 2021), Daniel, is a talent acquisition and sales specialist in High Tech, with a passion for helping others in their career development.
With a background in volunteering and working with diverse cultures, Daniel developed a deep sense of empathy and a drive to make a positive impact. Through recruitment and coaching, he discovered his true value lies in guiding individuals through both personal and professional growth. Whether navigating the rules of a start-up or a corporation, Daniel finds joy in helping people understand the ‘game’ and carve their own unique path.
Also an avid mountain climber like his brother, Daniel is a passionate cook, reader and philosopher.
